Sorry, I don't own Boulder and I dont like to answer for other people, but it wasn't directed to anyone in specific
so I might as well answer. Boulder I believe, is an egyption uromastyx.
Again, sorry if I imposed by answering a question not directed to me.

georgio's uro, Boulder, is indeed an Egyptian. I, too, have fallen madly in love with that little beast from the photos. It's crazy to see such a big uro after seeing mostly only malis and ornates and such.

I think Boulder should have some sort of movie or advertising contract!
Georgio has shared soooo many wonderful pictures of him...he could single handedly win over every one in the non-herp loving world!!
I nominate: BOULDER FOR SPOKESLIZARD!!!

Lol, that's true.. Boulder is such a wonderful lizard as it seems. I'm sure someone would like to use them in an ad for their petshop, hah. Anyway, I think is Peter hasn't already, he should compile a webpage of pics of Boulder and information.
woohoo! i second that nomination

I'll post a bit more later as I have to run to class soon. Boulder is an Egyptian Uromastyx as people have already mentioned. Not all of them have his same personality however; I'm not sure how rare or normal he is. I am in the process of creating a website that will have tons of Boulder pictures. I have a crazy school schedule this summer so I'm not sure when the site will be done. Here are a few pictures for now:

This is the first I've seen him or heard of 'em. Im a new uro master and trying to get all the info i can. How old is Boulder? He should get some kind of ad promo for a beer comercial or something. Ha! No seriously, I only hope my Red Saharan, Balrog, grows up like Boulder! Cheers.
Ah, another Lord of the Rings fan! I like the name you chose! We had a Xenagama Taylori named Smeagol; he died earlier this month.
Sure would like to see a picture of Balrog! BTW, I agree: Boulder is a handsome animal!
