Best place to purchase online and a lighting question

leomomdiana Jun 23, 2003 07:21 PM

I wanted to order some supplies for my leo's enclosure and was looking for a reputable online store. I can't find any good reptile stores in my area so I thought I'd just shop online. Any suggestions?

Now my question: I have a 20L with a very small UTH (8x8). I would like to buy the next size up since the humid hide and a regular hide is taking up most of the heated area. I have a 75W blue night-glo light that I was leaving on most of the day and night, from about 10 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. I also have a 60W day-glow bulb. Would I be better off using the day-glo during the day and then switching to the night one? Thanks

Diana

I would use the day glo during the day (from 7am-7pm let's say) and and then switch over to the blue night glo bulb. If you have two seperate hoods for the bulbs you can place them both on the screen lid of the tank and just turn one off and the other one on.
