Can Australian Water Dragons jump?

rich_123 Jun 23, 2003 07:35 PM

If they can jump, how high can they do so. I'm just wondering so I can know the minimum height of an enclosure for keeping adult ones without a lid. Thanks to all those who reply.

Regardless of their jumping ability, the are very aboreal, so a MINIMUM of 4 feet high is required.

Reptiles have amazing escape abilities... I'd never feel safe keeping anything without a lid. Most lizards and a suprising number of snakes can jump.
