an eastern box turtle that I acquired about a month ago layed an egg and I would like to know the proper way to incubate it.the mother tried to eat it for some reason and put a little dent in it but did not break the inner lining so the egg is still intact, I was wondering if this would cause a problem. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks DC

laying ontop of the soil and eating the eggs are signs of stress, theres a chance the egg is not viable, put it in a tupperware container with moist vermiculite ontop of your fridge, incubation takes 2-3 months
