For the rest, I hope you had fun hooting and making my secondary point that lack of reading comprehension and a know-nothing attitude is pretty common in some quarters. As Jeff Lemm noted somewhere below, the demagoguery of a few gets really tiresome, and it's a big reason why a rather small proportion of the people who know a lot about monitors (both as captives and in the wild) are posting on the public forums. We have other venues, of course, but they don't serve people who are either new to monitors or would simply like to see a wider range of ideas presented and discussed. That's a net loss to what I suspect is the large majority of KS readers.
