What types of food do i feed a 4 foot long Gopher? Need Care taking advice for new owner.

I am recently a new owner of a colubrid snake. I am still in the process of determining if this is a Garter snake, or a Gopher snake. But i stil find no difference though.

Anyway, i've read on care sheets that people feet mice, worms, fish, etc. I've feed fish to my old garters that sadly passed away. I was wondering if a pinky diet is consistent enough, or anything else is required. I am a new owner, and any info on feeding would be much appreciated.

Btw, i have one of those tall 20 gal. tanks for him. I currently have bark substrate, and 2 large branches, along with a 75 watt desert bulb. Is this good?

4 foot huh? Can you take a picture? I should be able to tell if it can takes Pnkies or if its a Gopher snake.

lol, well i go on a lot. I have just realized that this is NOT a garter nor a gopher. This is actually a Redracer, Coachwhip, etc. It has the common black head, and red body colorations.

Haha... Umm I would reccomend feeding that lizards, pinkies and fish.

Oh ya, Frogs also make a good meal for them
