JCP wth Diarhhea

hefte Aug 09, 2004 05:46 PM

I have a two and a half year old JCP. I've had her over two years and she has always pooped normally. She ate about three days ago, so I took her outside to roam. All of a sudden I heard a loud farting noise, looked down, and she had pooped all over the grass. It was Diarhhea but didn't seem to bother her. I know that when I have caught snakes in the wild they will poop all over you but I have never seen her do this before. Other than that she seems fine. She has been eating chicks lately and had nine of them three days ago. I'm wondering about possible parasites. Any help would be greatly appreaciated, thanks in advance. Eric-

Hi Eric -

A diet shift to chicks can definitely produce loose stools.

Moving a snake from its familiar “home” to the great outdoors can definitely induce it to clear out its plumbing, no matter what it's been eating or when.
