put a bright light behind it. don't change the orientation of the egg. if you see viens than it should be good.

& as Bennett said, do not change the orientation of the egg. Not even for a min. Try to put the light on one side, or end of the egg. It will light the inside of the egg & you should be able to see the veins. Later in development you can see tails, etc.
