Burmation Question...

funnyman527 Aug 09, 2004 07:52 PM

Ok, so i think that my beardie is starting to go into burmation, she's digging alot, and when i got home today she was completly burried under a rock in her cage.

Is there anything i can do to prevent burmation safely? and if not is there anything i should do to help ensure her to survive thru burmation???

thx

My dragon is still eating normally, and doesn't seem to be too much less active. just she's starting to bury herself and sleep UNDER things.

I've attempted to make a cave type thingy for my BD to use, hopefully that'll work.

Make sure the rock is sturdy enough if she digs underneath it, it doesn't fall on top of her.

When you mentioned being buried under a rock I remember someone mentioning a long time ago their beardie dug under a rock and the rock became unstable and ended up killing their beardie. Just thought I'd point that out.

I don't know jack about brumation so can't help you there. I just know it's probably going to make me nervous when it happens.
