one more thing to think about....
I went out of town for 2 weeks last year, and before I left I fed them a week BEFORE I left. That way, they didn't deficate while I was gone, but prior to me leaving. If they go while you are gone and no one is around to clean the cage, it can be plain old bad husbandry. You don't want the snake crawling around in poop for a few days before it dries up.
Maybe it's just me. My plan worked out perfectly.
Just make sure there's water or a good humidity box. Don't want any dehydration. I left for a week and a half, and mine were just fine.

My Snakes
I remember reading somewhere that the record for longevity without food was set by a ball python- 23 MONTHS!!! I believe it was at a zoo here in the states, I'll try to find more info on this. I wouldn't worry about two weeks.

Food is not the problem here. What if the heat light blows? What if it gets out of the cage? What if the heat source causes a fire? What if the water dries up, and it has nothing to drink? These are things you have to worry about. I would get a friend to check on your snake every other day just to be safe.
