I'm really glad the "oldtimers" are back.......

I was new 3 years ago and was just thrilled to find Tony's forum. I could not find any accurate info and the one page I stuck to was Jeff's. I noticed that there were others too. Either almost exactly like his, or very different. I know now that alot of Jeff's info was copied from his page.

A couple of years later...I have 9 BRB's and obviously I enjoy them or I would have a GTP or something. I am really glad to see the more experienced than myself people come to this forum and offer their experience and insight. It also makes a broader range of opinion and gives me more to think about.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda,
I took a peek at Tony's site a couple of weeks ago and, well, lets just say some of the posts have veered way off topic.
This is a great forum.
OK, I've got to share; bought a Woma this weekend at the show here in Sacramento. JAZZED!! Really, really, cool little snake.

I like those, although I don't really know much about them. Keep me posted on how it's going!

Linda,
. I was just wondering what has happened to Tony. The last time I saw him was almost exactly two years ago right after the Daytona show when he had BBQ with me and a couple of my old internet reptile friends. We exchanged emails about some Rainbow Boas a few times right after that but since then I have not heard from him. Tony is a Vet. Tech and had worked with big cats before moving to Florida. I think he was working for an exotic animal Vet. there in the Orlando area when he had the website. Does anyone know what Tony is doing now?
Jeff

It's a good thing he isn't here. I have 1,427 questions about those cats. Maybe he'll turn up somewhere soon.

I'm glad to be back. I missed my rainbows and can't wait to begin breeding season in a couple months.

I did stop by Tony's old forum and saw he poked his nose in late last year but not since. I also noticed someone wanting rainbow boa "eggs" shipped to them. Was anyone able to accomodate that request?

I can't believe people still try to get a serious post on there.

Mike

I'm guessing they still haven't hatched.

Anyway,

Since this forum and some unique experiences, I went from BPs and Corns to BCIs and BCCs and now have a gorgeous BRB pair along with a BP (the first snake I ever owned)...

I think that the beauty of this animal and wonderful keepers around have influenced me to keep them versus the "morph war" species where everyone else fights to have the 'best'.

A special thank you to everyone here who has helped me learn, love, and even help others with these wonderful pets!
