It's probably been about 6 months now or even longer since I noticed my White's Tree Frogs back legs really haven't been very strong. He still uses them, so there is circulation, feeling, and some type of strength left in them, but when he jumps or moves around he leaves his legs sprawled and just seems kind of tipsy when he falls off a branch trying to get somewhere and just not stable. He eats fine, has no weight loss, sits in his water dish, and is normal, but I just don't understand how his legs could all of a sudden lose as much strength as they have. I've had him for about 4 years and 3 months and I've never had a problem with it before. I do vitamin supplement once a week, so I'm kind of eliminating Metabolic Bone Disorder as the cause, but am still not sure. He doesn't have disfiguration, but if anybody has any idea as to what could have caused it, please let me know. None of my other frogs show any problems at all and he's healthy otherwise...I'm enclosing a picture of one of the positions he will just sit there in...and not try to correct his body position.
