Thanks for the nice words! I thought the same thing when I was waiting to receive mine. I have 2males and 2females that I bought from TerryP this past year and I couldn't be happier. The pictures don't do them any justice. I tried getting a closer shot to show the colors developing around the edges of the scales but my new camera sucks for macro shots. I guarantee you'll be addicted to them.

Thanks for the nice comments...
phew...I just got done completely cleaning my entire snake collection as well as the whole snake room due to finding 3 mites on a recent purchase. I bought a male GTP at a local herp show and of course it had 3 mites on it. In all fairness to the dealer, I could have brought the mites home from another vendor. This is my 2nd experience with mites AND in both cases the mites 'appeared' shortly after attending herp shows. I think I'm giving up on herp shows now. Besides, I've had much more success buying high quality animals from people online vs. what I'm seeing at shows anymore. The few quality dealers at shows usually have the same prices online anyway. I could swear that I didn't touch any animals at all this time. One dealer was really pushy too and insisted I hold a snake but I resisted, stuck to my guns and politely refused for no other reason than to avoid bringing any uninvited guests home with me. Maybe I picked up the mites on my sneakers/shoe laces or something...who knows? Luckily I noticed it before it was too late. The GTP is now being quarantined and was treated successfully (I hope). Once I start breeding these snakes, I don't know if I want to sell at shows since I've heard that almost all vendors get mites transmitted to their snakes at herp shows at some point or another. Well, I'm pooped....it took me the entire day...needed to vent! At any rate, the BAIRDS are a nice change of pace from most of my messier snakes that require more time.

Those bairds are looking real nice Jason. I couldn't believe how soon they were starting to show colors. My wife says I told her I just wanted one snake. Can't recall saying that. LOL.
