Hi all,
Off and on for the last 20 years Ive been trying to find a timber rattler in my neck of the woods,central Illinios.As luck would have it my brother's boss was bit by one two weeks ago tearing out an old stone fence.Unfortunatley they killed it and took it to the hostpital were it was identified as a timber.It was a dry bite so he was lucky.It was a juvie so I know there has to be more.Ive been back to the stone fence and all the places you would think would hold any snake and without luck.They are very rare in my area and tips for finding one would be greatly appreciated.And I have searched the obvious areas morning,mid-day and evening.They wont let me on the land at night becuase of insurance reasons.I have begged.hehehe.Thanks.Paul.ps I just want to shoot some pics of the guys.
