I have never really been too into lizards, but I have some experience keeping them. I was down on the TX coast roughly 30 miles out of Galveston and flipped some eggs (18 to be precise). Roughly larger than jelly bean size, and not oblong like snake eggs. I was beating my brains in trying to think of what sort of lizard or snake could have laid them when a friend suggested glass lizards. They are in the area, though I have not seen any this year (last year I saw a few hundred). A few of the eggs had been eaten by ants, and one or two had apparently hatched. I figured since the ants were moving in that if I took the eggs I really had nothing to lose as they were going to be eaten either way (and it is always good to gain some experience, especially when the eggs are destined for a dead end). My only question is how to incubate them properly. I have them on some moist potting soil at the moment. Any temps, water to substrate ratios, or other tips would be extremely helpful. thanks for the help.
