the strangest thing has happened

Hi

something really werd just happened here when i was feeding my brazilian rainbows, after i fed the female i wanted to feed the male and i feed him 1 mice and he ate it n/p but then when i gave him the 2nd mice he strangle it and when the mice was still alive he allready started to eat it and when he had the mice head allready swallowed i still saw some movement in the mice his feed and i bet he chocked inside the snake!!!
have i just been halucinating this or have more people had such an experience?

When I have had itty bitty baby corns taking day old pinkies they were to inexperienced to fatally constrict their prey. They would just go down squeaking. I never liked that much. Even with baby brb's they are a bit uncoordinated and it takes some of them a few experiences to become more skilled. I have noticed with mine that they improve with each feeding. I kinda think it's cute...the baby thing. I guess this is true of all species.

ITS NOT A BABY HEHE
hes 7 month old and a very experienced killer... he just had a big apetite is what i think and couldnt wait for the mice to be killed 100% before starting to eat it or whatever.
it was an adult mice.
