Hello, ok it seems I have offended alot of ppl by my post of my cali king eating a "DOR" COPPERHEAD I did not st8 that in the 1st post ppl please I myself keep and breed coppers it's not like I went outside and got one of my coppers out of my personal collection. I hit this poor guy with my truck on the way home lastnight and just wanted to see the out come of putting it with 1 of my kings... Now I say Dor by that "I" mean dying on rd. it had a lil wiggle left in it. But surely was gonna die. Now I have had sevral emails of pissed off ppl and some threats of animal rights ppl jumping on me.. BLAH. It's ok to show a pic of a snake eating a small lizard or small earth snake etc or even a mouse and that dont seem to bother them, but I post this pic and now the emails are pouring in..Why dont they just use the post. Animal rights yea right.. Im sure they are sitting there thinking of wut to say in their emails over a big bloody steak.. Again to all, I myself keep and breed coppers I love them too. This was 1 I hit with my truck on the rd. it had no chance. So for all those offended I apologize again. the title clearly st8ed not to offend, but the offended still keep looking at it. Like rubber neckers at a car wreck I guess. I dunno.. Im sorry folks. It was just an experiment. Pe@ce 2 all.. Mike

Don't worry about it Mike. I think because of another individual that has posted in the past of snakes eating cornsnakes, kingsnakes, etc. etc. might have some folks in more of a sensitive mood. It's not like you went to the Copperhead Fourm and said " Hey check this out"
Anyway, since you keep Copperheads what do you think of this specimen I found. This guy was located in Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in Dare co. North Carolina, near the OuterBanks. To keep this somewhat on topic, I was hunting for Eastern Kings or OBX Kings, but with no luck of course, but ran across several nice Copperheads.

Speaking of that other individual, check out the watersnake forum on 7/18/04 with him posting a sarcastic reply to RDBartlett, who happens to be an extremely well known herp photographer/author. Mr. Bartlett has forgotten more about herps than this other person will ever know.
