How tall?

Melle Aug 10, 2004 02:39 PM

Hello all,

I am going to start building a permanent enclosure for when my baby sav outgrows his 40 gallon. I was just wondering what the ideal height of it should be? Thanks

I'm no expert but I would say about 3-4'. You need a lot of height so you can give them enough dirt to burrow in. If you give it a 4' cage than you could provide 18" of dirt and 30" of space for the monitor "play" and live in.

PS. I also am going to be building a cage pretty soon, what are you going to make yours out of?
