Sanderson or Alpine?

Thinking about heading out to sanderson or alpine for two nights this week. Heard they have been getting rain. Any sugestions. Thanks, Shane

this past weekend we got between two and three inches of rain around alpine. its cloudy right now, probably wont rain today, but tomorrow looks good for rain. got about an inch and a half in thirty minutes fifteen miles south sunday. dont know why you would want to avoid the rain. on the drive back up from, i found eight snakes before the storm hit. then another five or six in the rain. once the rain subsided, the anurans were out in full force.
