Luthien had really been packing down the food lately. She had 12 superworms yesterday....Well this morning I foud 8 of them vomited up on the floor. She seems a little dehydrated, but otherwise OK. Cause for alarm or just over-stuffing?

when was the last time a fecal was run?
Parasites can make you FEEL hungry, even if you are eating
thus the bolting of food
I am about to send a couple fecals in just in case for my whole troop
otherwise, just keep water very clean, and keep an eye on the sweet little thing

good luck
and let us know what happens
especially if its NOTHING that happens

this is a case of no news is good news

Last fecal was a month or two ago, and it was clean, and she hasn't been introduced to any non-clean dragons since. I really do think it was just over eating because she's been eating like a pig. Saturday, she had a nightcrawler and 5 superworms, sunday 7-8 superworms and monday about 12. And she's only dropped two fecal pellets, so you know, overfull probably. So I think her eyes were just bigger than her tummy. She still feels like she has food inher belly, too. The vet said to let her be and if she does it again, or seems to be "off" to bring her in. And she's been fine, ornery and dominant as usual, so I'm gonna let her be.

Sounds perfect
It was an outside consideration
if she was clean within 6 months I would not worry, and consider it just that
overeating
just put it out there because if she had not been checking in a year or so, and this was happening, she could have picked up a flatworm or tapeworm from the nightcrawlers
or some other parasites from the crix and been re-infested
it can and does happen
but not that quickly (2 months)

Glad for the reply

I have seen this with the babies especially. If they are without mealworms for a day and I fill their bowl there almost always seems to be one that over indulges and winds up puking up a bundle of undigested mealies. Its gross but seems to be harmless. I guess I wouldn't worry unless one dragons seems to do this frequently. Then I would worry about impaction or parasites.

It's so good to come to the forum and hear that everyone is doing so well.

So, ecb, Tripod still doing well? I'm guessing he should be perking up by now.

and Flaring his dewlap at his reflection and hjunpin up and down off his Branches
then yes he is Perking up a bit

He looks and seams GREAT
