Hey all,

Just yesterday, I brought home my first baby Indigo! I wanted to thank Rob Carmichael for making the potentially stressful and drawn out process of purchasing an eastern indigo as painless and quick as possible. And thanks to the members of this board too – while I didn’t voice all that many questions here, many of them were answered here.

Now on to getting the little girl to eat regularly…

I’ll post pictures when I can, but she’s a bit camera shy at the moment.

Congrats on the new baby!

I should be getting a new youngster myself here shortly. Do you have a name for her yet? Keep posting and let us know how the snake is doing. I agree that this is a really helpful forum.

Take care ...John

You have a spectacular baby and there's no doubt that the folks on this forum will welcome you without hesitation....we are all here because we are passionate about indigos. And folks with a single specimen can contribute just as much as those like me who have a number of adults and have experience in breeding them...in fact, sometimes, those who have only kept one or two can provide insight that others like me may miss due to the amount of animals we work with. We look forward to hearing about your trials and tribulations, and triumphs, in raising a baby indigo to adulthood. Congrats. Rob MAKE SURE YOU POST PICS AND SHARE THIS BABY WITH EVERYONE HERE

I'll try and get a picture as soon as I can. My mom has a digital camera I'm going to borrow soon.

I'm still deciding on a name for her...

We'll see.
