diet change question

can anyone tell me how to get a leopard gecko off of what i believe to have been an all cricket diet to a superworm diet i put a bowl of superworms in the cage but they seem to ignore them

Is it a clear low bowl that that can easily see the worms in?

Have you tried to drop one right in front of it to see if you get a responce?

ive held one infront of its nose it just walked away so then i just droped the worm in front of him
he licked it then cocked his head back and it looked like he was going to strike but then just walked away and went in his hide
