They will likely live through it... but NOT a good idea to intentionally feed them.

Personally, I've tried to see if they'd eat one before, but they didnt really notice it at all. Its probably nothing but chitin, and wouldnt do anything for them nutritionally, so no I wouldnt be feeding those.
