White lump in male Phelsuma lineata (lined day gecko)

clf23 Jun 23, 2003 09:45 PM

My male lined day gecko has a lump in his stomach. It seems to be getting bigger. I can see it when he is on the glass, and I can see under his belly. He is getting quite swolen now. It almost looks like he is pregnant, but that is just not an option. Anyhow, any ideas?

Chris:

It is possible that your gecko has an impact which can be cause by several things: ingested substrate, parasites or dehydration.

This evening your gecko needs additional humidity. Tomorrow your gecko needs to be seen by a veterinarian. This second suggestion should be taken seriously.
