hey guys, girls i use chushed walnut as well for all 3 snakes i have 2 cali kings 1 garter well my big cali king dosent sneeze but my baby sneezed 2 times but that was 2 minutes before she shed. i havent noticed any other sneezing since is it bad but it also says dust free and i havent seen any could it be because she was geting ready to shed??

Probably just had a piece of skin irritating his nostril. Watch it closely and if it produces wet sneezes again he may have an RI. I heard them make lots of strange sounds when breathing just before or during shed.

thanx for the help didnt know if she was sick or if it was the wallnut stuff because that stuff isnt cheap and i bought 40 $ worth of it lol

thanks but my dad is changeing it and is making me mad he put a log from a feild in it without washing or bleeeching it so i took it out and he got pissed off at me because he said it cant hurt her is this true because i think i know more about snakes than him!!

hey you got a beautiful king there, how much did you get her for?
also how big is your tank? thats ESU desert litter right? if so i got 10 lb bags for 9 something at petco, i bought 2 but i only needed 1 for my 30x12 tank

i got her for $80 at the ventura reptile show form steve little he mad a florida king it is sweet. yea i made the same misstake with th litter i got 20 pounds only needed 10 lol i have a 20 gallon tank and i love the litter how it looks. and any one been bit by there snake i am afraid of beeing bit she tried when i fed her today when i grabbed her water to clean but i dont know if she would let go or shay on i also might breed arizona mountain kingsnakes if i can fid 2 cheap. also she dosnt know how to consrict should she because i fed her a live 1 2 weeks ago and she at it whole and alive lol

mine has been a savage when constricting but yesterday she ate a pinky and was all lazy about constrciting then just ate it alive

yeah i got a 20 for her too, lady at petco was like "noway 10 is gonna be enough" but thats fine, doesnt hurt to have extra, the stuff is great, easy to work with, poo just clumps
