Aw c'mon, step up

There's 20-odd posts down below, and not one of them says why Frank refuses to give us a list of the monitors he keeps. Funny, that.
I know my list is shorter, but here it is: I have 2.1 V. gouldii, captive bred at Dallas Zoo, and 1.1 crocs via DnJ. I even have all their papers, lucky me.

I don't post here often,I usually go on this forum to learh more about monitors and their needs when in captivity, and see some pictures of different set-ups and different species that are kept, but lately I don't even feel like coming here because of the "p*ssing" match the two of you are engaged in. I believe both of you are very knowledgible when it comes to monitors but this is out of control. Why don't you both just agree to disagree on certain topics and remember that people come here to learn about monitors and how to keep them correctly not get caught in the middle of two peoples egos. Sorry so long, but I feel like I had to say something. Trash me if you like but that's my opinion. Scott

Scott,

And that is how these exchanges begin. You will see that almost any time I start a thread a certain crowd responds with diversions, disparagement and hooting, and the moderator comes in and removes a third or so of those posts. Now, when FR begins a thread, unless it is an attack, the discussion tends to go along -- with some zingers, perhaps, but rarely at a level where the moderator removes posts and bans people. Notice who responds to what, and how they respond, civilly or otherwise.

Why do you suppose that is? Who wants to keep another view from being heard and considered by reverting to troll theatre? Me?
