I wouldn't at all risk it. Merumonata are the most receptive to heat out of all the jacksonii subspecies, and cannot tolerate high temperatures of about 83*f . A cool area is also pretty manditory, and if the enclosure is placed outside on a warm summer's day, an area down to the mid 70's would be hard to achieve.
>>I have a pair of juvenile Meru jacksonii and a sub adult Chamaeleo hoehnelii. I was wondering if they can be kept outside in their cages in the summer in West Los Angeles Ca. I was also wondering if any one has a male Chamaeleo hoehnelii?
>>The jacksoniis are about 4 mounths and the hoehnelii is about 8.
