day gecko plus anole

can i possibly keep a small day gecko and a green anole in the same 20-gallon tank?

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is that it's barely workable to keep two anoles in a 20 gallon together, and mixing species that need to compete for the same space in a tank that small is not possible with any success.

I definitely suggest reading Shaon94's post below (a few threads down) in answer to Janome's question about other species to keep with anoles. It's very insightful and well-written.
