hey everyone

I was wonder if was such thing as a blue-tailed skinks, and if so can their jaw, legs, and tail grow back? Here is the story, see I was outside in my cutting the grass in my backyard. Before I started to cut I made sure that their wasn't anything or any animal in the area. At first everything was fine and just when I got to the end of finishing up. Their it was rolling around in pain so much pain. Its tail, jaw and two legs on its left side was cut off. At first I thought it was dead, but then it just started moving around. It was trying to crawl away like it was nothing.

The question again was can their jaw, legs, and tail grow back?

Sorry to hear about that. It's not your fault. Bad things happen like that sometimes. Unfortunately it won't grow back it's jaw or legs. The best thing to do for it is to put it out of it's misery.

As far as my knowledge, the only species in the world that can regenerate any part of their body are lizards (and humans to a certain degree). And sad to say, the only part is their tale, mainly because it's used as a defense mechanism. My suggestion is to take it to a vet, and if it's in its best interest, euthanasia is the only way to go.
