She can lay as many as she would like. She may of just had a smaller batch, or she may of not been done. For the eggs to be fertile, there would of needed to be a male in while she was gravid (orange). You will know if they are fertile if the eggs are large and full, some even say they show pink inside too. If they shrivel up or begin to mold, it may mean that they are not good. Do not throw them away because there is a slight possibilitly of them coming back.
