Shedding Problems?

Freakytah Aug 11, 2004 01:59 PM

My adult bearded seems to have shedding problems lately. On his tail and hind legs the dead skin just flakes off to my touch, but he never pulls it off. It's been like this for a while now and the skin definatley isn't still attatched, just wrapped tightly around his legs and tail. Is there any product that helps beardies shed? I've soaked him a bunch of times but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

I'd definitely get the shed off of these areas as they can hinder blood circulation if left on too long.

I had some shed problems and the baby oil really helped a lot. I used a qtip as an applicator and waited a day in between every application to give the skin a chance to dry out and flake off.

Also, how long did you soak him for?

Good luck!!
