Question on Bairds....

crtoon83 Aug 11, 2004 03:34 PM

I talked to the guy i'm buying mine from he said he has a few that are showing more yellow as babies, does this mean they will have more or less coloring as adults? Does anybody know?

Thanks,
Chris

Bairdi all start out looking the same, so if your guy is showing color at such an early age I would think, but I'm not sure, that would be a good indication. Someone told me once that if you see coloring on the bellie that might also be a good indication of a specimen that will develope some nice coloring. Terry P. has alot of experience with bairdi so he'd be a good one to ask.

Even still you will not be disappointed with your purchase. Baird's a pretty snakes.Plus I like their temperament. They rattle the tail a litte, but rarely if ever bite. They are neato snakes.
