I am building a house in eastern north carolina and when we were digging a hole to installa septic tank we found a clutch of snapper eggs. ( yes i'm sure their snapper). I put them in a bucket with about 2.5" of sand/dirt on top and I am worried that the soil is too compact. I was considering putting them in vermiculite or some thing like that. Please help i've had them for about 2.5 months now and I read they hatch in 3. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. HAPPY HERPING!!
