Well so to speak. What constitutes a pastel? I thought I knew but am unsure again. Is this a pastel?

The reason I ask is this. (sorry it's long)

I picked out two ball pythons from a wholesale supplier I use sometimes for pinkies in my town.
I had toyed with the idea of getting a Ball python but wanted a CB one but one day as I was at his place he had gotten in a huge shipment from ghana (which I am not a fan of) somehow he talked me into looking in his crates of babies and offered to sell me any two I picked out for $24.00 because he just got in two shipments and had them on sale because he did not want to feed and house them all. I looked through and picked out two (which he never looked at) My snakes are around 175 grams now and are brighter than the one pictured above. They are a very yellowish orange and the color seems to be increasing. They are also starting to show a lot of blushing to them. They really look like the snake pictured above but pastels do not come in Ghana shipments do they?
These two snakes just look so different from some other CB females I got later on. Do ghana Balls look that way usually. I have seen many at shows and they don't look like mine.
I would like to post a picture as soon as I get new batteries for my camera so someone can tell me they are normal.
Would they be what is considered high gold?
I am going to buy a real pastel soon but these fake ones are keeping me entertained so far.

yes they come in alot of variable shades and patterns......

....we would need to see a pic of yours to guess if it may be a pastel.........high gold.....normal yet pretty.....normal and ugly...LOL.......

The one in your link looks real to me. Faded head and blushing. Kind of typical for Graziani line, but there are lots of Graziani's that blow this one away! Regardless of the line, pastels are usually price-graded based on appearance. This one's nothing special so (only) $800.00. I think the pastel faded head is more obvious when veiwed from the back and less obvious from a front-view. Hope this helps.
