Pics of what 2 sheds can do>>

Mystical-Dragons Aug 11, 2004 06:14 PM

This dragon actually was one of the ones with the least amount of color of the clutch. With each passing shed though he has just gotten increasingly awesome. Since the first pic he has shed twice since then, and now shows some outrageously awesome orange coloring. Hope you like. Matt

This is him a few sheds ago

Well, this is the same dragon two sheds, and a lot of color later

Your bloodlines have definately shown the propensity for gaining color with age. For everyone else the price is going up with each shed. Get one now while they're affordable.

Thanks Mike.. Actually prices haven't changed since they were first priced at 6 weeks of age. I just made his price firm instead of negotiable. I'd say right now he's a good buy considering the increase in color after 2 sheds. Right now I think he's stunning. If he even gets better then this with more sheds forget about... I'll keep him myself LOL. I'm having a mass shed LOL, so maybe when I update the website with new pics, I'll update their prices accordingly as well considering they are not babies anymore. They are very much established, and healthy young dragons.. Depends on how they turn out, but for right now nothing has changed any. They have Just gotten HUGE, more colorful, and are eating me out of house and home LOL. Thank God I only have a small group left..

For someone relatively new to breeding, I've got to say your animals are right up there with the best!

Thanks again Matthew, he is a too beautiful for words dragon, but best of all is his personality, just the little royal prince

Thanks so much Cheri!! I'm so glad you guys like him so much. He's still the BIGGEST of all the babies this season. You sure are doing a great job with him!! One just shed today that looked a lot like Merlin did when he was here with me.. Boy Merlin was a piggy LoL. I'll send the pic in email as it's to large to share here. Thanks Cheri for spoiling my boy, and keeping him healthy and thanks for keeping me updated on his progress..

Thanks Bennett.. I'm very happy with the babies this season. It sure was an enjoyable experience. It's been fun breeding, and hatching babies from two of my favorite adults Foster & Candy. They gave me many beautiful babies, and even when I thought I had an idea of their color potential I get a few that shed and color like this... Makes me wonder what I sold at 6 weeks of age if by 10 they change like this one did LOL. Going to have to buy stock in the cricket farm next year though. They are pigs!!

I wish I could try them Bennett. Unfortunately I live in townhouses so have neighbors and joined walls. I'm afraid some might get loose go though the heating ducts and end up in my neighbors apartment .. LOL that's all I need is to have neighbors screaming and banging on my door after finding a roach in their place LOL. They all know I keep and breed the exotic animals, actually the super, and owner of the development are my customers hehe, but I doubt they'd like the idea of roaches in there place LMAO. Crickets, and super worms are one thing but roaches...I Don't think so!!!! Don't think they'd go for that at all.. To Bad though as that would be great to produce my own feeders for the dragons.. Thank God I'm pretty good at getting the babies to eat and enjoy their veggies and pellets, that helps a lot in keeping them full, and making the crickets last a bit longer. Plus I pay ground shipping at www.superwormfarm.com and get my packages the next day as they are only the next state over in PA, so I save close to 16 bucks in choosing ground instead of overnight from www.reptilefood.com. That alone has been a nice savings this season.

Thanks Eve! I'm very happy with the way they all turned out this season. Just when you thought you reached the bottom of the clutch as far as color you get a few sheds like this that surprise the h*ll out of ya.. Oh well going to have to update the available page as most are in shed... I wish they all would look like this one did after their shed LOL

I still remember the look on my husbands face when he saw the photos for the first time of little Stevie. He stood for several minutes just staring at the computer screen. And he had not yet read the email from you so he had no idea that you wanted little Stevie to come live with us. He just thought it was another email from someone sharing photos of their dragon. It wast then that I told Ramon that it didn't matter what color he was that we would be helping him because of his sight impairment and as a favor to a special friend.

He turned and looked at me and said, "WHAT?! He's coming to live with us?!"

It was like seeing a kid in a toy store who had just been told by his mother he could have the coolest toy in the store! LOL He has come to love dragons over these last few years as much as I do. But it still cracks me up at how excited he gets when we get a new addition to our "little family."

We are the ones that owe you the thanks Matthew. Little Stevie is such a little gem. We would do anything for him and enjoy sharing all our love with him.

I promise to take some new photos this weekend and get them posted to the website early next week. He's already gone from 18 grams, when we got him, to a whopping 31 grams! He's such a little piggie when it comes to those silkworms.

Take care Matthew!
