New Donated Amazon Tree Boa (PICS)

ttreptile1 Aug 11, 2004 06:53 PM

Here is a nice little ATB I was given for just the cost of shipping. She is quite the looker. She also has the standard bite first ask questions later attitude. Just thought I would share some pics.

Great animal! I really enjoy amazons and all the different color and pattern morphs they come in. A guy I know just got a dark garden phase animal that he was told might be gravid but unfortunately she died like 4 days after he got her. Those babies might have been something different but I guess we will never know. I am currently on the hunt for true 'red' animals. There are a lot of animals that people claim to be red but they aren't. I have seen the difference and true reds are hard to find. Anyway congrats on the amazon and good luck with it!

Thanks for all the comments. I was told she was a Halloween phase but she isn't. More of a tangerine phase is yuo ask me. Anyone know what exactly phase she is?

I would say she is a real nice 'colored' amazon which covers a wide spectrum of patterns and colors. just about anything that isn't black, brown, or grey is considered colored.

What a beauty and what a deal!! Wish someone would offer me a deal like that!! Good luck with her. Billy
