I am going to the hambug show in october as well. i was in hamburg and found a couple people with yellows. only one person had cb yellows all the others were wc and not in the best shape. i was bitten by ever conda i handled at the show. i keep 1 male yellow and a pair of greens. condas r nippy but with handleing they can calm down. also send me an e-mail and we could hook up at the show. CrazyCodyKadunk@hotmail.com and we can talk more about condas.

All yellow anacondas are exactly the same and will try and kill everything around or die trying. This seems to be the case for all lines, ages, sizes, sexes, wild or captive bred. Sorry no way around it and you should listen to the pet store and just forget about them unless you want to get bit all day long. However, I have not been bitten by either of mine...I must be special
` Eunectes4 is right. They live to kill and maim. ( I won't explore the possibilities of why they refuse to bite him. )
` My evil male Yellow Anaconda lives to kill:
` Children

` Especially girl children, but we fight over the ones over 18.
`
` And Cats, he loves to kill cats.

` Sometimes, I give him a young couple. He likes to do two at once.

`
` And sometimes, when he's been really viscious, I give him a fat old man. That usually slows him down for at least 48 hours.

`
` You just can't trust a single one of them.

Well I can say that mine is not at all EVIL but she has her moments. I've had mine a little over a month now. She has struck at me 5 times so far and only landed once and that was when I fed her for the first time after I got her. She still shows signs of being afraid of me and does take up a defensive position but does not really show aggression. I am much bigger than her and it is understandable why she would be that way. I am still working with her and it may take me til the end of this year, if not longer, to get her used to me. I can see a w/c being much more nasty than a c/b but i also know it depends on the individual snake too. Mine is c/b. Well hope this helps some. I know we all are not as special as Gavin. Geez.

My yellow...I wont let anyone else handle her. She can be teasty at times. But to say all yellows are nasty, no way. I am learning so much from my yellow, I have always said you can only handle a anaconda on there terms. Sometimes it may take you a couple years or even longer to figure out there terms. My snake made her terms clear...NO DOOR WAYS!!! she hates them. If you want a yellow, get one from a real good breeder and work with the snake, ever snake is differant.
