Can BD's get too close to UVB bulbs? I have a wood perch they climb on and its about 1inch from the bulb! Should I take the perch out it will be about10 inches or so to them to the bulb?

florescent bulbs don't generally present a problem unless they are medical quality. MVB generally are 12-18" depending on power (due to heat and UV output)
