hi everyone, my friends bought 2 Ball Pythons but they bought them from different pet shops on different days so i was wondering since they are the same size and they look to be "normal" type of Ball Pythons can they house them together? they are seperate right now for thier safety please let me know thank you.

...for many reasons, to list a few:
1) One specimen may have been exposed to/be carrying a disease
and transmit it to another...
2) Newly-hatched babies are easy to disturb/alarm and even at-
tempting to feed one may "throw off" the other...
3) When examining the feces and it appears abnormal you can't be
sure from which it came (Yes you have to be a bit of a
scatologist in the snake biz!!)...
4) There may be a fight over a food item, with resulting
injuries...

...the list goes on...

Individual cages are the way to go!

oh ok i'll be sure to tell him that. a couple of things though they have been taken to a vet and they are fine, how bout if they are hand fed? can they not be around eachother anyways? thank you for your advice.

They are solitary creatures.Bp's are known to be stressed out over smaller things than that.(They may not even eat for you).

Besides ..what if you have 2 males ? They are known to combat.

If they are in fact a male and female(and you want them to breed). It is still best to introduce them to each other during the "breeding season".
