Definitely too small. A 20g doesn't cost that much more.

do you know any sites where there are 20 gallons for a good price? they're very expensive down here.

Search classifieds in the newspaper. People are always looking to get rid of old tanks for a cheaper price. you could also just buy a rubbermaid with the same floor space as a 20 gallon tank. They are cheap and work just as well as a tank.
