well were doing some work around the house and i got a hold of some scrap wood. its plywood i think, 15/32 thick and rally smooth. i already have it together and well do to my only having a jigsaw its not very straight but ill make it work with a little filler, caulk, and wood trim. the cage im building is very simle bacause its the first cage iv ever made and i dotn want to wear my self out of get to descuraged. It opens from the top via two hinges and a lock. all the sdes are wood except for the front which is gonna be plexiglass that in just gonna screw in caulk and be done. its gonna have two vents on either side which will be covered with screen and the top will have a heat light which will be cut of and sid ontop of screen.

Any words of wisdom or advice... ill be sure to take some pick tomorrow before i start work on it all i can really do is just sand it for now until i get the rest of what i need.

how should i go about sealing the wood and should i paint it or stain it the wood is really nice and i think stain would really make it look nice.
