male and female

ANGUS and PANDORA

i hope she lays her eggs soon. i need advice on using a hovabator, like what type of conditions have you had success with.

off topic. i have concerns about brumation, i am in south florida and i want to brumate my lizards this year. i have owned collaredsd in the past but never brumated them. what is the highest temperature that "successful" brumation can occur?

Yeah they look real nice together, should have some pretty kids

The brumation thing is done in different ways , by people, depending on where you live also. Some of the hotter climates, people use coolers to reach lower temps, in order to brumate.

I kind of just turn everything off, and leave them in their tanks at room temp. I have only brumated a few, this year I think I will brumate most.

You would be better getting some advice from someone who uses a cooler, since your in florida. Ask JohnE or Will Wells

Also remember only the most fit should brumate, never thin or unhealthy lizards.

Yeah, give those guys a holler about the coolers!

Since I live in Quebec city (47 parallel north), winter is freezier than center/south united states.

So, I expect to brumate "Sara" during winter to get a free cooler.

How long should I let her in such cool temperature ? I've read 3 months, it seems very long. She is going to miss me !

By the way, should I brumate both male and female in order to "breed" them or just the female ?
