How old do collards have to be before they are good to breed?

And at what age should males be separated?

at 8 - 9 months old I believe. But around a year, is fine.

Males should be seperated before they reach that breeding range, as they will become territorial, and begin to fight.
Some will really harm one another.

Im not pushing keeping them together by any means, but I do have a small adult male Chaco, a yellowhead, that is accepted by all the other males. I believe they feel he is a juvey.

The hovabator , I keep mine on a table in a bedroom, the room is cooler than the temp I set it at of course. Our room is about 72 with air conditioner.

The hovabator is set about 83 (moderate) some set a bit higher at 85.
