What is she?

JaredAren Aug 12, 2004 01:38 AM

I purchased this girl from Reptibibd as a BCI and I am fairly certain this is what she is. The seller was not sure about how old she is. She was 5 ft and 5.5 pounds when I purchased her in the spring so I assumed she was an underfed 2001 animal. She does have a larger head than my other adult BCI. She is 6ft and close to 10 pounds now. She put on this weight with only 1-2 large rats every ten days. She was only about 8 pounds in the pic. She goes through a much more drastic color change than my other BCI as well. She goes from a pale pinkish yellow to a deep reddish tan. I plan to breed her to a hypo this fall. Is it possible that she is a BCI/BCC cross?

An earlier pic to show head from front. Of course her head and body are much larger than this now.

BCI Joe sold me this 2000 female. She is 6ft and close to 9 pounds now Joe. Her head is much smaller than the previously posted female's. She is in shed in the bottom pic. The camera angle and the fact that she was about to take a big dump almost make her look gravid. She too will be bred to a hypo this fall.
