what do i do when my eggs get stuck?

katieh Aug 12, 2004 03:43 AM

my leo always lays her eggs near the edge of the container so they stick to it and each other. Is it safer to leave them as they are or to pry them apart somehow?

Do Not try to pry them apart - you'll most likely end up damaging the eggs. Same thing goes with prying them from the hide box. If they're stuck to the hide box, you'll need to cut away the hide box from around the eggs. Stick the eggs & piece of hide box in the incubator.

If your female is continually doing this, you might invest in disposable hide boxes, if you haven't already!
