We have 51 snapping turtle eggs in an incubator. They were layed the first of june. My question is it seems the contents of the eggs have settled down towards the bottom of the eggs when we candle them. And I can see like a red sac inside also. Is this the embryo sac? Does that mean they may be hatching soon? Not all the eggs have done this but a majority have. It was very exciting to see the baby turtles move for the first time in the eggs. Any info is greatly appreciated.
