Sneaking a snake into a hotel

Hi there:

I am about to go to an out of state reptile show and purchase a baby yellow rat snake from a vendor there. The problem is, I need to stay at a hotel for one night that definately DOES NOT ALLOW SNAKES! How can I stay at the hotel and leave the next morning, after the continental breakfast of course, without the maid finding the snake?
I want to keep the snake comfortable, yet hide it away and somehow manage to sneak it in so that nobody can see it.

well...your maid shouldn't come until after you check out. if she does put up the do not disturb sign.
