are bigger than corn snake eggs, and generally speaking cal kings have bigger babies than corn snakes.
Kerby...
So far two are out of the egg, and one is 11" and the other is 13 or even 14 inches long. Still have 6 more eggs to go... three have pipped, two haven't, and one appears likely to be dead.
No movement inside... but that's been the egg I've doubted for the longest time anyway. These eggs were two inches long by an inch wide, and are nearly twice the size of my Blotched King eggs. These are my first hatchlings so they seem SMALL... but when I have cornsnake hatchlings I'll probably change my mind.
Congrats on your new arrival!

Mine just started laying hers last night, now comes the long wait...good luck,
Since this is my first time breeding, I just did what I could.... I gave her and all the snakes their last meal on Thanksgiving, and a couple weeks later unplugged their heaters. Then at the end of JANUARY I woke em up. Bred them as soon as they were ready! That's why I have hatchlings now and not later.
Of course the second clutch was laid 30 days ago, so I'm still waiting on that one to hatch. I didn't even know we would get to breed that one, since at the time we bred the Cal kings we only had one Appalachicola king, but we were very lucky to get a fine male adult who had been brumated, and he had no trouble with the task we set to him.
AND the egg I thought was dead is showing some signs of life... so I MIGHT, just MIGHT get 8 out of 8 to hatch... crossing fingers!
