Last pic of these fantastic racks ! Tom & the boys do it again !!!

Paul Edwards Aug 12, 2004 01:04 PM

Tom Weidner & the guys at Habitat Systems did it again. They make the best reptile racks and enclosures in the world, bar none. These racks work so well it's incredible. The boxes slide out so smooth - not like the boxes on the other Freedom Breeder type racks which can be rather tough to pull out & push in. This rack is the prototype & is being tested at Eugenes Besettes facility now. It is nick-named 'Jane' - after Jane Mansfield. Appearently they both have those pointy things in common at the front - another type of "rack" actually ! LOL !!!
They have also built some that are one column wide, 10 high that are great too.
Just thought you guys would want to see a little peek into the future !!!

Those are VERY nice. Just one question...how do they have the heat set up in them?

I think I know what I'm getting for christmas! LOL....yeah...they are probably pricey...but those are just TOO nice to pass up.

It's done somehow from underneith. I didn't see how it was done when I was there at Eugenes place, he had removed them. So they are removable too ! You could have it done any way you want.
I think Freedom Breeders are about $90 a hole, these are aproximatly the same, probably a little higher but A LOT better. However, you can have it without a back & legs instead of actual sides to make it cheaper if you wanted, but remember, value is remembered long after price is forgot !
I've attached a pic of Toms place all done in his cages, Habitat Systems.
Thanks,
Paul Edwards
