Does anyone know how to serve a cactus pad to their Uro's? I bought one today and want to give Buddy a piece. Do I peel it or just cut it up? Please let me know asap.
Thanks in advance.

I just use a knife to peel off the needles (if there are any) and cut it up into sqaures. My uro isn't too fond of the cactus, but my beardie loves it... go figure.
Thanks, I will try that and let you know if Buddy the uro and his friend (ha! ha!) Tiny the iguana like it or not.

Well it's been a week or so and the verdict is that both the iguana and Buddy loves cactus. It's another food that they can eat and I read somewhere that it is also good for them

I also hear it's very good for them - should be extra good for Buddy for keeping him well hydrated.
